The PBA Spartans were established in January of 2015 by Eric Reitler, Matt Sands and Chris Estrada. They created the PBA Spartans so that players in Cape Coral, Florida would have the opportunity to compete against the best competition throughout the state of Florida. Each of our players are from the local area that have talent, work ethic and the drive needed to compete at the highest level of baseball for their age group. Our Coaching staff is dedicated to coaching not only the fundamentals of baseball but works to ensure that the players are taught values of life so that they have the tools to be successful as they grow into young men. The Captain Receives His Jesrsey

In the poem ARETE, Tyrtaeus of Sparta wrote: 

"Rise up warriors take your stand at one another's sides, our feet set wide and rooted like oaks in the ground."

And that's what we have done.  We are standing by our brother's side as he continues his fight in Boston.  MAX has received his his jersey and his hat from the Spartans.  It was delivered to him along with a bunch of other goodies, cards and loving messages from here in Cape Coral.  It looks great on him, and I look forward to the day you lead us to battle while wearing it.  We might be over 1,000 miles away, but you have a lot of people praying for you and your family and wish you nothing but the best.  KEEP UP THE FIGHT MIGHTY MAX! #spartanfamily #biggerthanbaseball
