In light of the recent tragedy in Miami with the death of Jose Fernandez, I can't help but reflect on our Spartans' Family. These boys take the field a few times a week to practice. And a few times a month to play a game. A game a lot of us, (their parents and coaches now) played as kids, and now cheer on our own every time they take the field, just as if they were in the "bigs." We came together with a common bond of a sport. Now we are a family. I know I speak for all of us when I say it's a family we are all proud to be a part of. #SPARTANFAMILY
September 17th-18th, Sarasota, FL. Both 8U and 9U teams were on hand to showcase their abilities. All though both teams came up a little short, the boys played with tremendous heart, and their never say die attitude is something to be admired. I for one am looking forward to the next tournament!
